Project Overview
Baby Foot Studio is a professional photography studio specialising in newborn, maternity, toddler and family photography.
For this project, I developed the complete client website using WordPress and Elementor, translating the approved website design into a responsive and functional production website.
The development focused on maintaining the visual quality of the original design while creating reusable sections, responsive layouts, photography galleries, service information, pricing content and a simple enquiry experience.
Development Goal
The main development goal was to transform the approved UI/UX direction into a fully functional WordPress website that could be used and maintained by the client.
The website needed to:
1. Preserve the original visual design
2. Work correctly across desktop and mobile devices
3. Present large photography collections efficiently
4. Organise services and pricing clearly
5. Provide a simple contact and enquiry journey
6. Allow content to be updated through WordPress
7. Maintain consistent layouts across all pages
My Role
I worked on the website implementation and WordPress development for Baby Foot Studio.
My responsibilities included:
1. WordPress website setup
2. Elementor page development
3. Converting the approved design into live pages
4. Desktop responsive implementation
5. Mobile responsive implementation
6. Reusable Elementor section creation
7. Photography gallery implementation
8. Service content implementation
9. Pricing section development
10. Contact and enquiry implementation
11. Typography and spacing consistency
12. Image placement and optimisation
13. Responsive testing
14. Cross page consistency
15. Final production deployment
WordPress Development
The website was developed using WordPress as the content management system.
WordPress provides a flexible foundation that allows the website to continue evolving as Baby Foot Studio adds new photography, services, packages and business information.
The development structure was created so important website content can be managed without rebuilding the complete website.
Elementor Development
Elementor was used to build and manage the website interface.
Reusable Elementor sections were created wherever possible to maintain consistent spacing, typography and visual presentation.
This approach also makes future content changes easier.
The Elementor implementation focused on:
1. Accurate visual implementation
2. Consistent spacing
3. Reusable structures
4. Responsive behaviour
5. Image presentation
6. Clear content hierarchy
7. Maintainable page layouts
Page Development
The website includes five primary page types.
Home
The Home page was developed as the central entry point into the Baby Foot Studio website.
It combines photography, services, studio information, portfolio content, pricing references, testimonials and enquiry calls to action.
About
The About page presents information about the studio and its photography approach.
The development focused on maintaining comfortable typography, image placement and responsive spacing.
Gallery
The Gallery page was developed to give photography maximum visual importance.
The gallery implementation needed to support multiple images while keeping the experience clean and responsive.
Pricing
The Pricing page presents photography packages through structured content sections.
Special attention was given to readability and responsive behaviour because pricing information can contain multiple details.
Contact
The Contact page provides a simple path for potential clients to connect with the studio.
The development keeps the contact journey straightforward and accessible across different devices.
Responsive Development
Responsive behaviour was implemented across desktop and mobile layouts.
Each major section was reviewed independently rather than simply scaling the desktop layout down.
Development considerations included:
1. Typography scaling
2. Image resizing
3. Section spacing
4. Content stacking
5. Button sizing
6. Navigation behaviour
7. Pricing layouts
8. Gallery behaviour
9. Contact usability
Photography Handling
Photography is the most important content type on the website.
The implementation therefore needed to preserve image quality while keeping layouts responsive.
Image containers, spacing and section structures were developed so photography remains visually dominant without breaking the surrounding content.
Reusable Website Sections
Reusable Elementor structures were used across the website to maintain consistency.
These included:
1. Content containers
2. Section headings
3. Buttons and calls to action
4. Photography layouts
5. Service sections
6. Pricing structures
7. Testimonial sections
8. Contact sections
9. Responsive spacing patterns
This makes future website updates easier and reduces unnecessary duplication.
Content Management
Using WordPress gives the website a manageable content structure.
The platform provides a foundation for updating:
1. Photography
2. Service information
3. Pricing
4. Studio content
5. Contact information
6. Testimonials
7. General website content
Design to Development
The project began with the approved website UI/UX direction and was then translated into a working WordPress website.
During implementation, visual decisions from the design stage were converted into responsive Elementor sections.
This process required balancing design accuracy with real website behaviour.
The final implementation was tested using:
1. Real photography
2. Real client content
3. Desktop layouts
4. Mobile layouts
5. Responsive typography
6. Navigation
7. Service information
8. Pricing content
Production Deployment
After development and responsive testing, the website was prepared for production and published as the live Baby Foot Studio website.
Final Result
The final result is a responsive WordPress and Elementor website that translates the approved Baby Foot Studio design into a functional production experience.
Visitors can explore photography, understand available services, review packages and contact the studio through a consistent responsive interface.
The WordPress structure also gives the project a flexible foundation for future content updates and website growth.
